Lead Hazard Control Firm - License #LHCF-0010
In 2010 the EPA instituted new lead laws regarding lead in homes. Any home built prior to 1978 should be considered to have lead in them and a firm needs to be certified to work on them. Mike's is one of the first firms in Rhode Island to obtain this certification and is proud to be able to offer this service to our clients. If you are not sure if your home has lead in it prior to renovating we can assist in having the right company, such as Rhode island Lead Techs, complete a pre-renovation inspection. If your home is found to have lead in it we are properly trained to keep your family safe while work is being completed. As part of a homeowner education program we will supply you with a booklet called "Renovate Right" to help address any of your questions or concerns.
